The Blighty Girls - a night of nostalgia & fun! Thurs 23rd 2015 July 6-8pm

MARCHAND PETIT ARE TAKING PART IN THE ULTIMATE CHARITY EVENT OF THE YEAR - The Blighty Girls - a night of nostalgia & fun!  Thurs 23rd July 6-8pm - The Brownston Gallery Modbury

Charity Art Auction for Help for Heroes -Thurs 23rd July 6-8pm. We invite you to join us for a night of nostalgia, fun and more! Come along to the Brownston Gallery, 36 Church Street Modbury.

We are going back in time to the 1940s with an auction of retro pin-up paintings by Devon artist Richard Meyer.  His series of 12 oil paintings - one for each month - is inspired by a calendar of glamorous ladies of that era.

The auction will be attended by some of Richard's life models in costume and we will also be joined by military personnel representing Help for Heroes. Musical entertainment will be provided by the fabulous Carousel Ladies singing hits from the war years.

The auction is being ably conducted by Stuart Cartwright MRICS Registered Valuer and Director of Marchand Petit, leading South West property agents.

All of this adds up to a truly wonderful evening for a very worthy cause.  Please come along and raise a glass or two with us!

Note: All the paintings for auction will be on display in the gallery from 20th July and can been seen online at www.meyergallery.co.uk.  Bids can be taken in advance of the auction until 12.00 noon on Wednesday 22nd July by emailing richardmeyer@lundybay.net.  All proceeds will go directly to Help for Heroes.
