Salcombe is renowned as a sailing and boating centre, located beside one of the loveliest estuaries in the South West with miles of sheltered water and fine sandy beaches on either side towards its mouth. The popular town has an excellent range of shops, pubs and restaurants.

The Lodge is positioned on the corner of Devon Road and Allenhayes Road within a short walk into the town centre and enjoying estuary views from most rooms. The bright and spacious accommodation is arranged over 4 floors with the lower ground floor, with separate entrance from the rear, consisting of a large kitchen/breakfast room, sitting room, bedroom and shower room, could easily be converted into a self-contained annexe.

The property befits its Victorian origins with a rendered exterior topped by decorative gables, double fronted bay windows and the interior boasting an abundance of period features with high ceilings, fireplaces and sash windows to mention just a few. As soon as you enter the property through its wide front door the light and airy large rooms are apparent including a total of 7 bedrooms, 2 kitchens and 4 bathrooms.

Outside the property enjoys a large sun deck ideal for al fresco dining and with the benefit of steps leading down to Allenhayes Road giving easy access into town and the harbours. A driveway providing parking for several vehicles is also accessed from Allenhayes Road.
