A substantial stone, semi-detached house of Georgian origins, with extensive outbuildings and large level garden, in a riverside hamlet just outside the South Hams village of Yealmpton.
Yealmbridge is a hamlet which lies just off the northern side of the A379 immediately to the east of the comprehensively equipped village of Yealmpton. Yealmbridge House is an individual property set off a private drive well away from the public highway enjoying views over the hamlet and the surrounding countryside. A regular bus route (Plymouth to Kingsbridge) serves the hamlet. Various local shops, health centre, two pubs, primary school and many other amenities are to be found in Yealmpton.
The house, which reputedly dates from 1768, has been in the same family ownership for many years and over this time has been extensively renovated. The most attractive stone elevation, well presented interior and enthusiastically cultivated garden is a credit to the current owners.
Extending to about 3369 sq.ft, the house offers remarkably spacious family living space. Outside the sizeable outbuildings will suit a wide variety of uses. There is further scope within the stone former piggery, subject to the necessary planning consents being obtained.
