About this property

A delightful and well-presented 2 bedroom stone cottage with a courtyard garden, situated within the popular village of Harbertonford.

2 Brewery cottages is a beautiful two bedroom mid terrace cottage, which is tucked away in the centre of Harbertonford behind a private entrance. As you approach the property there is the private courtyard garden. The cottage has Wisteria climbing up the front and potted flowers in the Courtyard, making it incredibly pretty and tranquil.

On entering you are greeted with a good sized modern kitchen with an exposed stone wall at the back and original brick work features, the kitchen also has space for a family dining table. From the kitchen there is a doorway that leads through into the living room, this room is flooded with light and has a working original Victorian tiled surround fireplace. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms and the family shower room.

The property is within walking distance of the post office/general store, village hall, Primary school and Church. Throughout the village there is unrestricted on road parking.

The pretty village of Harbertonford boasts a primary school, church, village hall, an excellent village store/post office and a petrol station. The village sits alongside the River Harbourne and is about three miles to the south of Totnes, the commercial centre for this part of Devon. The coast is a short distance away with the sailing centre of Dartmouth some six miles to the south. For those who like a round of golf, Dartmouth Golf and Country Club, Thurlestone and Dainton courses are all within striking distance. The surrounding countryside is of outstanding natural beauty with wonderful coastal and countryside walks. Communications are superb with the mainline railway station at Totnes giving direct access to London Paddington and the A38 Devon Expressway easily accessible, linking Plymouth and Exeter where it connects with the M5.

Directions
From Totnes take the A381 heading south towards Kingsbridge. On reaching Harbertonford pass the filling station on your left and the church on your right. On the 18th May 2020, in line with government guidelines for estate agency, we resumed viewings and valuations of property. Where possible we will be minimising the numbers of viewings by first offering buyers a virtual tour. When viewings take place in person, social distancing and safety protocols will be in place.

We would like to remind all buyers that travel to the South Hams should be achievable in a day (round trip) and for those who live further away, a virtual tour with one of our agents will be offered until travel restrictions change.

In the meantime, our team are still available to help by phone, email or video conference.
