Much of the coastline in this area is National Trust owned and is adjacent to the Wembury Bay Marine Conservation Area. Plymouth City Centre is only about 7 miles away, while there are local shops and other facilities at Down Thomas (1 mile), Wembury (2.5 miles) and Plymstock (3.5 miles). Many eventual buyers only discover this area having been unexpectedly introduced to a property here.

Directions
From the A379 south east of Plymouth at the Elburton Hotel take Springfield Road signposted towards Wembury. Pass through the small shopping area of Elburton Village. At the following traffic lights turn left (Reservoir Road which becomes Wembury Road). At the filling station/local food store (at the top of the hill) turn right into Staddiscombe Road. At the T junction by the Staddy sports club turn left. In about a mile turn right to Down Thomas. Continue through Down Thomas, passing the Mussel Inn on the left, and continue to Heybrook Bay. Longlands Drive will be found on the left before the road drops down towards the water.
