Devon is often said to be Britain’s favourite county with good reason, there are plenty of hidden and historical delights in our part of the world, and the South Hams sits in one of the most picturesque areas of our region.

For someone looking for a country home that speaks to its landscape setting and feels as if it has grown out of it, I would recommend Merrifield near Slapton.
