An extended modern terraced house in a long established end of cul-de-sac location, close to the village centre, with views over the nearby park and the Yealm Valley with garden and garage. EPC Rating C.
The property lies centrally within Yealmpton, at the end of a cul-de-sac, adjacent to the village Conservation Area, and almost adjoining a large area of parkland. This area in turn adjoins the beautiful woodland of the Yealm Valley which can clearly be seen from much of the property, providing access many miles of country walks direct from the property without touching a roadway. The garden adjoins an old stone wall, and there is a short pathway to the many amenities of the village centre. Also, within a few hundred yards is the village primary school and community centre. Plymouth City Centre, 7 miles away, is within 20 minutes normal driving time, and may also be reached by the regular bus service. Many superb and unspoilt South Hams beaches are a short drive away.
The house forms part of a very small terrace of houses in small development built in the mid-1970s. It has been usefully extended to the rear where there is a sheltered garden with patio and lawn and steps to a raised seating area which catches the evening sun and enjoys a long view over the park (see photograph). On the ground floor the long and extended sitting/dining room is divided by a feature spiral staircase. The dining area has dual aspect windows with door to rear garden, and open doorway to the kitchen. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms, each of which enjoy good village or parkland views, and a bathroom. There is a separately located single garage.
Mains gas, electricity, water and drainage. Gas fired central heating.
