From here doors open into the kitchen/ dining room and the living/ dining room. The spacious kitchen/ dining room has plenty of storage cupboards and work surfaces, as well as a good size dining area, there is also a well-equipped utility room. From the dining area, double doors lead out to the raised decked area and garden. The living/ dining room is spacious and light with dual aspect windows and a modern fireplace, from here a door opens into a hallway which provides access into 2 double bedrooms and a family bathroom, one of the bedrooms has a walk in wardrobe and an ensuite shower room. The lodge has its own wrap around garden and raised decked area to enjoy the peaceful, private setting. There are also 2 allocated parking spaces along with visitors parking.

The Thatches Holiday Village offers fantastic leisure facilities for all the family to enjoy including an indoor swimming pool, fully equipped gymnasium, sauna, steam room and launderette. Children are also well catered for with a cinema, games room and outdoor play areas. The site also offers the use of electric charging points for vehicles. The site is situated near Modbury, a picturesque Georgian town situated in an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' and is only approx. 4 miles from the nearest beach. Receiving worldwide media coverage, it became the first town in Europe to become plastic bag free. There is a good range of local shops including a butcher, grocers, hardware store, chemist, delicatessen and a number of gift shops and art galleries. Other amenities include a primary school, health centre, dentist, veterinary surgery, and mobile library. For more comprehensive shopping, Kingsbridge is to the South and Plymouth is about 12 miles to the West. Nearby there are fine cliff top and coastal walks, beaches, and coves. There are stunning views of Dartmoor from the Park. In fact Dartmoor National Park is only a 20 minute Drive away from the Lodge.

Directions
Leave the A38 at Wrangaton Cross, sign posted Ermington, Yealmpton and Modbury. After about half a mile you will come to a cross roads; go straight over following signs for Loddiswell. After 3 miles you will arrive at California Cross. Turn left just before the garage, follow the road down and The Thatches can be found on the right hand side.
